One of the reasons why Clarkson's David D. Reh School of Business is lauded as one of the best business schools in the nation is because we are different—in a good way. Our undergraduate business programs and graduate business programs stand out because we design curricula and experiences outside the classroom in partnership with business leaders and proven entrepreneurs, to meet the targeted needs of the world's most innovative companies.
These companies seek students who can ignite ideas across people and fields, and lead across the traditional boundaries of marketing, economics, finance, accounting, human resources, international relations and organizational communications. Students who bring solid business know-how with insight into engineering, global supply chain management, financial analysis, data analytics, information systems and more.
That’s exactly the type of career-launching business education you will receive at Clarkson. You will graduate with the confidence and resume that show you have the mindset, skillset and experience needed for outstanding career opportunities. And it's those unparalleled career placement rates (97% in your chosen field) and great starting salaries that also drive national recognition of the Reh School of Business.
Undergraduate Business Programs
Designed in partnership with industry leaders, each of our undergraduate business majors blends two or more disciplines to build a highly effective and dynamic degree. All of our students, with the exception of Engineering and Management majors, start in the Reh School of Business as Business Studies majors, giving them the time and opportunity to experience a broad range of business disciplines before deciding on one of five majors:
- Business Intelligence & Data Analytics (technology, management and operations)
- Financial Information & Analysis (finance, accounting, technology and economics)
- Global Supply Chain Management (operations, marketing, technology, and economics)
- Innovation & Entrepreneurship (marketing, management, technology and economics)
Students looking to combine an understanding of business, engineering and technology concepts can enter into our highly unique interdisciplinary program in:
- Engineering & Management (management, engineering, science and technology)

Meet the Dean
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the David D. Reh School of Business website. While we have probably not met before, I already know a few things about you.
You have an inquisitive mind and you are driven by a strong desire to make a difference in the world, be it as an entrepreneur who revolutionizes an industry, the CEO of a multinational corporation, or as the leader of a team developing artificial intelligence systems. That desire led you to consider a business education in a prestigious university.
You are only considering business schools accredited by AACSB, the most prestigious accrediting body for business programs in the world. You want a program that combines hands-on business and entrepreneurship experience, a rigorous curriculum, a strong interdisciplinary and global focus, and a proven record of career success of its graduates. You value close interactions with faculty and a diverse and respectful academic environment. All of these aspects, and likely others, made you realize that the David D. Reh School of Business may be the next step to realize your dreams. Of course, given your inquisitive nature, you want to learn more.
I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our programs, the Reh educational experience, our alumni, as well as our faculty and the impactful research that they conduct.

"While Clarkson has an outstanding reputation for engineering, the Reh School of Business is also noted for its excellence. I was able to start a business in my freshman year and take a variety of courses that diversified my skill sets in all aspects of business — marketing, supply chain, information systems, finance and so much more. The opportunities for learning never stop; I even decided to push back my graduation date in order to go on co-op for a year. The experience will be well worth it."
