Schools and Institutes

You will immediately immerse in a living-learning ecosystem where you design your academic, research and social life to intentionally collide with your own personal passions and goals. The result is a powerful educational experience at the intersections of science, technology, engineering, arts and business.

With a 11 to 1 student-faculty ratio, our Schools (Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering,  David D. Reh School of Business, School of Arts & Sciences, The Graduate School and The Clarkson School Early College)  and Institutes (Institute for a Sustainable Environment, Institute for STEM Education and Beacon Institute for Rivers and Estuaries) offer more than 60 programs of study that lead to bachelor's, master's, certificate and/or doctoral degrees. While we think and act globally, we take a wider community outreach role along our NY corridor from Potsdam to New York City to broaden and extend our network of corporate partners, government agencies and non-profit partners to ground your experience in open-ended challenges and build your career connections.

Explore our undergraduate majors and minors and graduate programs, visit one of our locations to meet our faculty, and learn more about the Clarkson experience.
