OPTIONAL- For students looking to "place-out" of Calculus:
Students in first-year calculus who believe (based on previous coursework) that they should be placed into a higher level of the Calculus sequence may take our placement exam. The placement exams will be held on Tuesday, Aug 30 in Price Hall 1001, from 11AM to 3PM.
There are two different exams, one for placing out of MA131 and a second for placing out of MA132.
The two hour exams are offered on a rolling basis, i.e. students can arrive anytime between 11am and 3pm, and be ready to hand in their papers by 3pm, with a maximum of hours allowed for the exam.
Students can sign up by 11:59pm on Monday, Aug 29 through a google form: https://forms.gle/VtcM9TLty5D7L9Xv5
