Advisory Council

The School of Arts & Sciences Advisory Council (AC) provides insights and perspectives on the world relevance of the curriculum, educational experience and future direction of the School, as well as advocacy for internships, co-op experiences, graduate school placements and career hiring.

The mission of our AC is to provide advice and counsel to increase the national and regional reputation of SAS. In order to achieve this goal, the AC will:

  • Provide an outside perspective to the School's advisors on the strategic direction of the SAS;
  • Advise the Dean on strategic planning and particular initiatives that the SAS implements in support of the strategic plan of the School and the University;
  • Secure financial resources through personal support as well as identifying, cultivating and soliciting prospective donors to support scholarships, fellowships, and research and other strategic initiatives and;
