Are you passionate about helping others? Do you want to learn how to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill or injured? Then sign up to become an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified First Responder (CFR). You can refresh your EMT skills, too, through one of our courses.

Two evenings a week (Monday and Wednesday) from 6 to 9 p.m. and some Saturdays (9am - 12pm)

Original cost: $1050.00 (includes text, online materials, uniform shirts and a vital signs kit)

Certified EMS agencies can submit for NYS reimbursement upon the student’s successful receipt of NYS EMS Certification.

Continuing Medical Education 

Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) can re-certify themselves by attending Continuing Medical Education Sessions (CMEs). They are conducted 8 months of the year and more information can be found here.
