Fall 2023 - EMT Original and Refresher Courses

Mondays (6-9 PM), Thursdays (6-9 PM) and some Saturdays (9- 4 PM)

Refresher course starts on August 21 
Original course begin August 28

Refresher cost: $450.00 (includes Uniform shirts)
Original cost: $1025.00 (includes text, online materials, Uniform shirts and a vital signs kit)

PLEASE NOTE: Payment is due when registering for the course. A registration form can be acquired below under EMT Program(s) Information. Refresher student registrations (with payment) are due by August 18, 2023. Original student registrations are due by Friday, August 25, 2023 (with payment). Registrations can be mailed but need to be received by the above dates or at the EMS Office, room 3008 in Clarkson Hall, 59 Main Street, Potsdam, NY.

Certified EMS agencies can submit for NYS reimbursement upon the student’s successful receipt of NYS EMS Certification.

Anyone interested after the application deadline but before the start of classes should email emt@clarkson.edu and if there are openings still available - we may be able to get you into class.

Continuing Medical Education

Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) can re-certify themselves by attending Continuing Medical Education Sessions (CMEs). They are conducted 8 months of the year and more information can be found here.
