Clarkson University, Clarkson Hall - 59 Main Street, Potsdam, NY 

Two days a week (Monday and Wednesdays) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and one Saturday per month.

Course begins August 24,  2026 and concludes December 5, 2026 (Practical Skills Exam Date)

Original cost: $1050.00 (includes text, uniform shirts and a vital signs kit)

Certified EMS agencies can submit for NYS reimbursement upon the student’s successful receipt of NYS EMS Certification.

Continuing Medical Education 

Emergency medical Technicians (EMTs) can re-certify themselves by attending Continuing Medical Education Sessions (CMEs). They are conducted 8 months of the year and more information can be found here.
