All Your Books. One Smart Price.
Clarkson Bound is a course material delivery program that simplifies the student experience, lowers the cost of materials, and makes sure students have access to all required course materials on or before the first day of class.
Through this innovative program, books are conveniently packaged and provided to students on a rental basis, and access to digital material is directly within the Clarkson system.
At the end of the term, students will receive email reminders to return rented physical course materials to the bookstore.

Making Tuition Payments
To make an online tuition payment, please visit Nelnet at online.campuscommerce.com if you've already created an account.
If your student has not yet added you as an authorized party, please ask them to go to their myCU account, choose Financials and then choose Nelnet. On the home screen in Nelnet, they'll need to select "Add an Authorized Party." Once added, the parent or authorized person will receive an email invite from Nelnet to create an account. Questions can be sent to studentfinancials@clarkson.edu or answered by phone at 315-268-6451.

Our Location
Our 640-acre main campus in the Village of Potsdam presents the classic college experience of connecting with friends and community intertwined with adventure, innovation and entrepreneurship. While the Adirondacks are in our backyard, our campus brings the exploration and exhilaration close to you through three miles of trails for biking, hiking and cross-country skiing through the woods and past wetlands -- a perfect break from studying. As we’re located on the banks of the Raquette River, we have our own canoeing launch point for exploring on the water.
Our main campus is connected complex that houses most of our administrative offices, laboratories, classrooms and many graduate and professional programs and the Clarkson School all near your campus residences.

Adventuring Outdoors
The Adirondacks and Lake Placid area are a multifaceted gateway to exploration, whether self-guided or through Clarkson’s Outing Club, the largest affinity group on campus. After class or during the weekend, plan a hiking, mountain biking or climbing excursion, search for hidden caves or navigate the waters of the Raquette.

Winter Adventures
Exploration doesn’t stop when the snow falls. By the winter months, adventure switches to luge, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or snowboarding. Or, test your cliff-scaling skills with some ice climbing. Our region hosts many world-class winter sporting events, including hockey right on campus.

Undergraduate Visit Scholarship
Clarkson offers a $1000 Clarkson Visit Scholarship to any student who has an official undergraduate admissions visit to our Potsdam campus by no later than December 1 for Early Decision and February 1 for Regular Decision of the senior year of high school. Like most Clarkson scholarships, this award is renewable each year for four years for a total of $4,000.

What to Expect
The Clarkson School isn't "college lite." Here, experience life as a Clarkson student, taking a full course load while participating in student clubs, athletic teams and academic and social organizations. Clarkson students love to solve problems by getting their hands dirty. Sometimes that means building a solar car; sometimes that means launching a business. You can, too.

The Clarkson School Admissions Committee requires each applicant to submit an application, an essay, transcripts and recommendations. Review all application requirements and financial aid information to get started.
Earning Your High School Diploma
The Clarkson School does not grant high school diplomas. If you want to earn one, you can work with your current high school to develop a suitable academic plan that satisfies your graduation requirements while studying at The Clarkson School. We will incorporate these requirements into your schedule here over the course of one or two semesters.

Who We Are
The Clarkson School (TCS) is a selective early college program for talented and motivated high school-aged students who enroll as first-year students at Clarkson. Typically, these students have progressed beyond their high school curriculum and are ready for a fresh academic challenge.
