Biography

I am a retired industrial researcher with 37 years of experience in manufacturing processes including spray forming of superalloys and steel, electroslag refining, vacuum arc remelting, investment casting, forging, rolling, sheet metal forming, and additive manufacturing. During this time I conducted 8 government research programs and oversaw several research programs in China, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine , and Wales. I patented 62 inventions and authored 83 technical articles including one book chapter.

I joined the adjunct faculty of the Capital District Campus in 2006.
