Biography

Loretta Driskel is senior instructional designer at Clarkson, partnering with faculty and staff to create engaging, diverse teaching and learning experiences for students and faculty. Although New York State certified to teach secondary education at the 7-12 level in 2000, her passion has been teaching, along with instructional design and development, in higher education and her mission is to help faculty to balance student success with efficient class management.

In addition to working in higher education, Loretta has used her entrepreneurial skills to start several small businesses, most recently, Mobile Tech Mentor, which included consulting with clients on their various personal and educational technology needs.

Loretta lives in Colorado with her husband and cat family, and they have a son and daughter-in-law within a few hours drive. Loretta enjoys reading fictional novels and spending time in the wilderness.
