Biography
Laura is an ELL specialist for the Mohonasen Central School district. Laura has prior experience as a Kindergarten and First grade teacher. She also served as a Literacy Specialist within Mohonasen. Laura is an Instructional Leader and Mentor within H.L. Bradt Elementary. She is actively involved in many committees and initiatives within the district. Laura facilitates professional learning opportunities in which teachers learn with and from one another with a focus upon improving student learning. Laura is also a lecturer at the University at Albany within the department of Literacy Teaching and Learning. Laura was awarded the Empire State Excellence in Teaching Award in 2022.
