This event is an event to bring all the diverse organizations on campus together and showcase our unique cultures with one another. Culture Day is a celebration of unity in diversity, fostering mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation for the multitude of cultures that enrich our world. It serves as a reminder that despite our differences, we are all connected by our shared humanity.
We will be watching the season opener for UAlbany Women's Basketball against the University of Rhode Island. This will be a fun team bonding activity. We will provide dinner and hang out watching D1 basketball!

The American Cancer Society will be teaming up with the men's hockey team to raise money at one of their hockey games. This collaboration is known as Hockey Fights Cancer and occurs during a home game during the month of November. The American Cancer Society sells t-shirts, raffle baskets and the hockey team provides signed memorabilia to also raffle off.
In conjunction with ACS on Campus, the Women's Hockey team will be tie dying Hockey Fights Cancer shirts with children in their Little Knights program. The hockey players will help the kids pick a tie dye design, rubber band their shirt, dye their shirt purple, and color pictures for cancer survivors.
