Eric York Headshot

Biography

I am a web designer and developer, a writer, a chef, and a father. I'm broadly interested in technology, film, and music, but also in hiking, kayaking, climbing, skiing, and the outdoors in general. Aside from reading academic literature, I read literary fiction, poetry, science-fiction, and fantasy.

Education Background

Rhetoric and Professional Communication Ph.D. - Iowa State University
English M.A. - University of Maine, Orono
English B.A. - University of Maine, Orono

Research Interests

Currently I'm invested in discovering and explicating the rhetoric of web development technologies. I'm also interested in exploring the connections between rhetoric and user-experience design and the effects of educational technologies on institutions of higher learning.
