The MSEM degree consists of 30 credit hours total, nine of which are electives. You can combine electives to explore one or more individualized concentrations. As a student, you can expect to complete the program within 24 months or less, with part-time and full-time options available.

Clarkson’s MSEM program boasts a curriculum engineered to address critical areas along the value chain including cost management, project management, sustainability and quality management for technically focused or engineering-based organizations. Electives can be combined for concentrations in data analytics, construction engineering management, artificial intelligence and manufacturing operations.

The Clarkson MSEM degree includes limited onsite weekend residencies at our Capital Region Campus in Schenectady, NY, with a blend of synchronous and asynchronous online learning. The onsite portion of the program allows you to meet faculty as well as your peers and develop a strong rapport. Synchronous virtual sessions leverage the diversity, experience and expertise at the heart of the MS in Engineering Management program. This creates a true online learning community built on the principles of collaboration and problem-solving.
