Biography
Paul Scimeca is an Adjunct Faculty in the School of Business where he teaches courses in both the Health Services Administration and Data Analytics Programs. Paul has over 30 years experience in healthcare administration and most recently serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Glens Falls Hospital, a small health system in northeastern New York State. In addition to his work to manage the daily operations of the organization, he provides leadership to key service lines including oncology, cardiology, behavioral health, rehabilitation and surgical services. Paul's previous experience includes the development of the employed network of physician practices and health centers.
Paul is a longtime member of the Medical Group Management Association and it a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE). He has previously served in volunteer leadership roles of the Adirondack Health Institute and the Adirondacks Accountable Care Organization (ACO). He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Glens Falls Family YMCA where he serves the organization as Treasurer.
