My research focuses on spatial statistics and data analysis, with methodological
development in the contexts of regional data and geostatistics. I have applied spatial
methods and computational tools to address a variety of problems in epidemiology,
climate events, and public health. I am interested in developing statistical methods to
identify unusual and abnormal spatial and spatio-temporal responses, detect clusters,
and make spatial prediction.
