Biography
Jeff Taylor has 25 years of experience in higher education working across a broad spectrum of human resource functions and college operations within both public and private higher education settings. He returns to Clarkson after spending four years at SUNY Canton as the Executive Director of the College Association. In that role, Jeff served as the association’s Chief HR Administrator and led senior management in developing long-range initiatives related to campus culture, organizational development, and total rewards.
Prior to his time at SUNY Canton, Jeff spent 10 years at Clarkson, where he served as Director of the Career Center and Associate Vice President for Student Affairs & Global Initiatives. As AVP of Student Affairs & Global Initiatives, Jeff was responsible for deploying both short- and long-term strategies centered around creating a culture of collaboration, service excellence and analytical-driven engagement.
Jeff’s ability to effectively lead in human resources, coupled with his intimate knowledge of Clarkson and its people uniquely positions him to partner with the campus community in guiding Clarkson into the future.
Jeff has a bachelor's degree from Le Moyne College and completed his master's degree at Alfred University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors backpacking, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
