Clarkson Food Pantry Hosting Food Drive at Golden Knights Hockey Games Nov. 10 and 11

The Clarkson Food Pantry is hosting a food drive at Clarkson University’s hockey games against RPI and Union College this weekend. Those who donate to the food pantry will be entered for a chance to win a Clarkson hockey jersey.

The food drive will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday and 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Clarkson Food Pantry is asking the public to bring donations to the game and drop them off at a table that will be set up by the entrance of Cheel Arena.

Non-perishable goods like canned goods are welcome. The Food Pantry also encourages donors to bring more meal-based items like ramen.

The Clarkson Food Pantry is located in room 1003 in Price Hall, and is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Pantry is run by the Dean of Students and supported by the Honors Program with the main mission is to reduce food insecurity for students on campus.
