Clarkson University in Top 40 of Colleges Whose Grads Earn the Most

Clarkson University recently placed in the Top 40 on Stacker’s list of the 100 colleges whose grads go on to earn the most.
Clarkson was ranked for having among the highest mid-career earnings, with ties broken by early career earnings. Mid-career earnings are median salaries for alumni with 10+ years of experience, and early career earnings are for alumni with 0-5 years of experience. Clarkson’s median early career pay for graduates is $70,700 and the median mid-career pay is $139,900.

The Stacker rankings, which were compiled using data released from PayScale, also highlighted that Clarkson’s class of 2019 reports salaries more than 10 percent higher than the national average. Overall, 97 percent of Clarkson grads found placement within six months of their graduation.

Slides also include the percentage of students earning degrees in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) as well as the percentage of those who report that their work is not only important to them personally but also, they believe, has a positive effect on the world at large, defined here as "high meaning."
