A group of four people pose outdoors for a photo on a college campus while another person takes their picture with a smartphone. One person in the group is wearing a green graduation gown with a gold hood, while the others are dressed in casual clothing. They stand together smiling on a walkway with campus buildings, trees, and lawns visible in the background.

The program is open to parents, guardians, spouses, siblings and other immediate family members interested in earning a graduate degree or certificate. The initiative reflects a modern approach to family educational pathways, recognizing that a student's Clarkson experience can inspire family members to continue their own academic and professional development.

"The Family Advantage Program strengthens Clarkson's commitment to lifelong learning while creating new opportunities for families to advance their education together," said Rana Alsaedi, Director of Graduate Admissions.

Eligible participants in master's programs receive:
  • The first 3-credit course at no cost
  • A 25% tuition scholarship on remaining coursework
  • A waived $300 enrollment deposit

Students enrolled in eligible graduate certificate programs receive a 10% tuition scholarship.

Additional benefits include:
  • Priority admission review, with decisions typically provided within seven to 14 business days after application completion
  • Dedicated enrollment support from a single admissions contact
  • Priority transfer credit review
  • Invitations to select Clarkson alumni and professional networking events
  • Recognition as a Clarkson Family Fellow
  • Complimentary access to select professional development and micro-credential opportunities

The program supports Clarkson's goals of strengthening multigenerational engagement and expanding access to advanced education for working professionals and lifelong learners.
