Clarkson University to Host Graduate Programs Fair for North Country Community
Clarkson University is inviting the North Country to discover how graduate education can open new doors for careers, research, and professional growth at its first Graduate Programs Fair. The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Multipurpose Rooms on Clarkson University’s Collins Hill Campus.
The fair is open to community members as well as undergraduate students, alumni, and prospective graduate students from Clarkson, SUNY Potsdam, St. Lawrence and SUNY Canton. It’s a one-stop opportunity to explore Clarkson’s graduate pathways. Visitors can meet faculty and admissions staff, ask questions, and get personalized advice about their options.
Programs span business, engineering, applied science, data and technology, healthcare, health sciences, environmental science and engineering, and more. Attendees will also learn about Clarkson’s flexible graduate formats, including 4+1 programs, automatic admission, direct admissions in health science programs, scholarships, certificates, online and hybrid options, and accelerated tracks.
Faculty will highlight their professional projects and cutting-edge research, giving participants a chance to see how Clarkson graduate students engage with real-world problem solving and innovation.
The fair will also feature food trucks, games, and raffle prizes, offering attendees a chance to enjoy campus life while exploring their academic future.
“Hosting the Graduate Programs Fair is an important opportunity for Clarkson to connect with both our students and the North Country community,” said Rana Alsaedi, Director of Graduate Admissions. “It’s a chance for future graduate students to see the breadth of opportunities available here, from specialized professional programs to research-intensive pathways.”
While Clarkson has hosted smaller graduate events in the past, this marks the university’s first large-scale, in-person fair.
