Clarkson School Students Recognized at Ignite Expo

Clarkson School students earned top honors at this year’s Ignite Expo, showcasing innovation, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking across a range of disciplines.

This year’s Clarkson School participants included Grace Prairie, Celeste Darie, Keegan Burke, Cirrae Cuffy, William Dunphey, Caleb Turner, Ben Forman, Conor Whalen and Austin Wultsch-Fuller. Students presented original ideas and projects developed through coursework and experiential learning, highlighting the school’s emphasis on innovation and real-world problem-solving.

Several students received awards for their outstanding work. William Dunphey was recognized for New Product Idea, demonstrating strong concept development and market potential. Caleb Turner earned the Commercialization award for effectively translating an idea into a viable business opportunity. Austin Wultsch-Fuller received the Engineering and Society III award for a project that integrated technical design with societal impact.

The Ignite Expo provides students with an opportunity to pitch ideas, receive feedback from judges and industry professionals, and gain experience presenting in a competitive environment. Clarkson School students’ success at the event reflects their commitment to interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
