Managing your Money is also referred to as “Financial Literacy”, which is defined as the ability to understand finance. More specifically, it refers to the set of skills and knowledge that allow an individual to make informed and effective decisions through their understanding of finances (also known as debt management).  SAS staff is available to assist students and parents with specific questions.  The links below also provide valuable information regarding various financial topics.

MyMoney.gov - the Federal Government's website dedicated to helping Americans understand more about their money - how to save it, invest it, and manage it to meet their personal goals.

Do Not Call Registry - The official website to have your name removed from calling lists.

Identity Theft - A one-stop national resource to learn about the crime of identity theft.  This website provides detailed information to help you deter, detect, and defend against identity theft.

Opt Out Prescreen- The official consumer credit reporting industry website to accept and process requests from consumers to opt-in or opt-out of firm offers of credit or insurance. You will be required to enter your personal data on this secure website.
