Personalized Campus Visits

Come see what our campus is all about with a personalized visit (families welcome!). Interested in sitting in on a class, meeting a professor from your anticipated major or talking to an athletics coach? We've got you covered. Along with all of that, you'll also have the option to take a full tour of campus with a Clarkson student and to sit down with one of our admissions counselors so that you can ask all the admissions and financial aid questions you have.

Once you've applied and have been accepted to Clarkson, you'll also have the opportunity to stay overnight with one of our current students to get the full college experience.

Requests for Overnight Housing will begin in Spring 2021

Personalized visits are offered everyday except Sundays throughout the year and some federal holidays. To arrange a one-on-one visit, call 1-800-527-6577 or submit an online request. Our personalized visits are currently taking place virtually only.

K-12 Group Visits

Clarkson welcomes many K-12 groups throughout the year to create a unique experience for all attendees that is different from our one-on-one visits. Work through a hands-on team activity with the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship, have lunch with a specialty group like HEOP, sit in on a first-year class, take a tour through our award-winning SPEED labs and much more.

Students - ask your guidance counselor or favorite teacher about bringing your class to campus for a visit.

Guidance counselors, teachers, and program coordinators - learn more about our K-12 group visit policies and schedule your visit.

Requests for K-12 Group Visits are currently suspended. Check back for updates.

Open Houses & Visit Days

Come to campus during one of our Open Houses or Visit Days to meet faculty, staff and students from all majors, programs and interests. These are a full day of immersion into the Clarkson experience, where you'll be able to learn more about: majors, minors and specialty programs; student life, clubs and organizations; study abroad and career experiences; the admissions and financial aid processes; and our beautiful 640+ acre campus and surrounding North Country community.

We typically offer several major events per year - Summer Visit Days in late June and mid-August; Fall Open Houses sometime between end of September and early November; and Spring Open Houses (for Clarkson School and Transfer) and Accepted Students Days (by invitation only) in late March and/or early April.

All large, on-campus events are currently suspended. View the calendar of our upcoming virtual events.

"My students left Clarkson feeling special, excited about the wealth of opportunities on campus, and energized to apply! I'm looking forward to bringing more students to campus in the future and hope that you will see some of our students around campus next year!"

Kate Haswell, Upward Bound Academic Coordinator
