Schedule at a Glance - First-Year Students

We pack a lot in to one day! Accepted Students Day is both a celebration of your acceptance and an opportunity for you to get to know us better. We recommend you attending the entire day to get a full picture of life on our campus - from academic, study abroad and research opportunities to extracurricular activities and athletics - but understand if you can only attend part of the day.

Some of the day is chosen by you, and some is pre-selected for you. You will receive a finalized schedule upon check-in. If there is something that is a "must-see" for you while you're here, just let one of our staff members or admissions ambassadors (in the yellow t-shirts!) know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

There are two tracks for the day - Green Knights and Golden Knights.

GE Leadership Day

Clarkson University partners with General Electric every spring to host GE Leadership Day for all accepted students who identify as female. During this event, participants:

  • learn about leadership from successful GE staff who graduated from Clarkson.
  • make new friends and network with alumnae, staff and current students.
  • stay overnight with a female Clarkson student host (if participating in the full GE program).
  • enjoy dinner and evening activities on campus.
  • also attend Accepted Students Day the following day.

There is also separate, optional programming for parents of Leadership Program participants.

This year's GE Leadership Day will take place on Friday, March 27, 2020. Please note that registration is required for Accepted Students Day if attending GE Leadership Day. Registering for GE Leadership Day automatically registers you for Accepted Students Day the following day.
