Clarkson University is offering a variety of undergraduate summer courses online for 2020. Undergraduate students who already attend Clarkson, who will be attending Clarkson in Fall 2020, and who do not/will not attend Clarkson are eligible to take courses. Some courses require specific prerequisites, which is noted in our Course Catalog.
Undergraduate COVID-19 Scholarships Available!
Clarkson undergraduate students and eligible undergraduate students from other higher education institutions can now access Clarkson’s COVID-19 Scholarship for 2020 undergraduate summer courses offered online at the University. The scholarship ensures each undergraduate student pays no more than $1,600 per course. The COVID-19 Adjustment Scholarship is valued at $3,200 for a three-credit course with a net cost to undergraduate students up to $1,600 per course and is valid in summer 2020 only.
Like most other colleges and universities, Clarkson moved to all online instruction on March 23 after the COVID-19 pandemic grew and when Governor Cuomo issued the “New York State on PAUSE” executive order. The University is currently reviewing all local, state and federal directives as it makes plans for fall 2020 enrollment. More information on our "Return to Clarkson" plans, click here.
How to Enroll
The process for enrolling in any summer 2020 online courses is slightly different for current Clarkson students, incoming Clarkson School, first-year and transfer students, and non-Clarkson students who attend/will attend other colleges and universities.
- Current Clarkson students can contact their current SAS representative directly to make enrollment plans.
- Incoming first-year, transfer or Clarkson School students can contact admissions, at email@example.com or 1-800-527-6577 should they wish to enroll in summer classes.
- Students from other institutions should go to Cathy Avadikian, Head of the Office of University Advising, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Financial aid officers will also work with all students on their aid plans.
