I’m majoring in biology and my pre-health track is physical therapy. My plan is to go to Clarkson's PT graduate school with an undergraduate study in biology and minor in psychology. I’m majoring in biology because I believe it will provide me with the basic, relevant coursework for graduate school and minoring in psych because it’s important in PT to understand why we do what we do.
I decided to go into a pre-health track when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I watched her struggle, as well as become strong with the help of medicine. I wanted to be a part of something significant like that. It’s been a dream of mine to help people just as my grandmother was helped.
Clarkson offers me experiences and opportunities that will ensure my success in the future. The challenging academics, medical clubs, and studying abroad were important to me in making my decision to go to Clarkson. Ultimately, I chose to go to Clarkson because of these opportunities and the great success rate after I graduate. When I graduate from Clarkson, I am certain I will be employed.
I love that Clarkson challenges me to be my best and on track for success. I know that the Clarkson graduate program is very competitive and rewarding. I’m currently a part of Doctors Without Borders, a medical club here on campus. I’m interested in studying abroad and experiencing medical practices in different countries. While at Clarkson, I’m looking forward to taking classes such as anatomy and physiology, psychology, and going deeper into chemistry.
