Clarkson's Search for 17th President Since 1896
President Tony Collins will be stepping down as Clarkson’s 16th president at the conclusion of the 2021-2022 academic year after 40 years of service to the institution. As the search for Clarkson University's next president unfolds, this website will serve as a source of information and place for all stakeholders to further engage in the process of identifying Clarkson's 17th president since our founding in 1896.
The Clarkson Board of Trustees established a Presidential Search Process and appointed a Presidential Search Committee co-chaired by Trustees Georgia Keresty '83 and Sanjeev Kulkarni '84. After a rigorous review of numerous well-respected and accomplished search firms that focus on higher education, the committee chose Isaacson, Miller as the University's external search firm partner. The Search Committee has created a Leadership Profile based on input from stakeholders at more than 20 listening sessions. At this stage in the process, Kate Barry and Elizabeth Dorr, the Isaacson Miller partners, are now actively seeking nominations and connecting with candidates.
