Biography
I have more than 30 years of experience in the public and private sectors in information technology leadership. In 2012 I earned an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership. Some of my experience includes work as the Director of the Northeastern Regional Information Center -- which provides advanced technology services for some 140 school districts in upstate NY -- and at Cisco Systems in advanced services delivery. I also served as a private consultant and worked with small and medium companies to assist in strategic technology and financial planning. In addition, I have worked in information services at Albany Medical Center in enterprise data warehousing and analytics. I have also worked at MVP Health Care, leading a Center of Excellence in Data Governance. From 2008 through 2015, I served as a founding member of an advisory committee at the Microsoft Corporation.
Dr. Strang also holds a MS from SUNY Albany and a BA from Union College.
