Q: What do I do if I suspect my student is being hazed?
A: Allegations or concerns about hazing should be brought to the attention of the Assistant Director of Student Life or the Dean of Students immediately. Please note: physical and mental hazing is not tolerated at Clarkson or under New York State law.
Q: When can my student go through Greek recruitment?
A: Students can go through recruitment process in or after their second semester of their first year if they are in good academic standing and have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
Q: Why didn't my student get a bid to join a Greek organization?
A: In order to join a Greek organization, students have to receive an invitation from the organization in which they indicated they were interested. This is called “mutual selection.”
Q: How can my student get involved on campus?
A: Students can view upcoming club meetings, peruse clubs by category or interest, and contact clubs via Knight Life, Clarkson's student event and organization resource.
Q: Where can my student find out about campus events or other activities?
A: All upcoming student events are listed on Knight Life, Clarkson's student event and organization resource.
