American Academy of Physician Assistants
The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) is the only national professional association that represents all PAs across all medical and surgical specialties in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, the armed forces, and the federal services. AAPA provides comprehensive support and advocacy for physician assistants so that they may, in turn, provide patients with increased access to quality, cost-effective health care.

Student Society of the American Academy of Physician Assistants
 
This society is dedicated to guiding students through the educational process and providing information on a number of subjects relevant to the PA student experience.

Physician Assistant Education Association
    
PAEA is the only national organization representing physician assistant educational programs in the United States. As of May 2010, all 149 accredited programs in the country had become members of the Association. PAEA provides services for faculty at its member programs, as well as to applicants, students, and other stakeholders

National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
   
The National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants is dedicated to serving the interest of the public. This is done with a passionate belief that certified physician assistants are essential members of the health care delivery team who provide millions access to more affordable, high quality health care. Their mission is to assure that those certified physician assistants meet professional standards of knowledge and skills. It is the body responsible for preparing and administering the Physician Assistant National Certification (PANCE) and Recertification (PANRE) exams.

Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant
  
The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant is the accrediting agency that protects the interests of the public and physician assistant profession by defining the standards for physician assistant education and evaluating physician assistant educational programs within the territorial United States to ensure their compliance with those standards.
