The Clarkson University Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Ranger Challenge team traveled to Fort Dix, New Jersey recently to compete in the annual Ranger Challenge competition, where the team finished fourth overall.
This year’s competition consisted of eight events, including land navigation, rappelling off a 60 foot tower, obstacle courses, assembling the one rope bridge, machine gun crew drills with a combined grenade course, a casualty care lane through the woods, as well as an evening tug of war tournament, and a morning seven-mile foot march.
