Sabraw’s artwork centers on a unique, eco-conscious method for creating paint from iron oxide extracted in the process of remediating polluted streams. On June 27, Sabraw and a panel of experts will explore this and other innovative eco-restoration models which, if brought to scale, could be high-impact sustainable solutions for healthy water in the Hudson Valley, New York State and beyond.
The event takes place at the Beacon Institute Gallery, 199 Main St., Beacon, NY from 7 to 9 p.m.
