Clarkson University Center for Entrepreneurship Offering Small Business Training in Waddington

Clarkson University’s Center for Entrepreneurship has teamed with the Waddington, N.Y., Chamber of Commerce to bring its My Small Business 101 series on the road. Since 2004, My Small Business 101 has provided guidance to more than 500 business owners.

Marc Compeau, Clarkson University director of innovation and entrepreneurship, presents the My Small Business 101 course in February.Building on the excitement of the recent World Fishing Network competition, the chamber and the center are supporting new and existing small business owners in the area. 

Small-business people are invited to attend this successful course, which is delivered in four weekly two-hour sessions.

Each week, Marc Compeau, Clarkson's director of innovation and entrepreneurship, will focus on a different topic, including thinking strategically, resource management, marketing management and financial management. 

The course will be held on July 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in St. Mary’s Parish Hall in Waddington, N.Y.

Space is limited and registration will be offered on a first-come first-served basis. There is no cost to attend.
