Armed with polished resumes and visions of their future, Clarkson students attending the 2019 Career Fair this month made the rounds of more than 150 prospective employers who came to Potsdam for the three-day event.
“It’s been a good couple of days,” Rachel Adams ’21 said. She was hoping to score an internship for this summer or next, and met with 16 company representatives.
Tim Barnes, a Clarkson alum, returned to campus to represent his company at the fair. He began work at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense about a month after his 2017 graduation.
He was at last fall’s Career Fair, too.
“Clarkson produces students with qualities we want. It’s like a pipeline for the future,” he said.
Clarkson is regularly cited as one of the nation’s leading research institutions when it comes to career placement, earning potential, and ROI.
