Other Logos - Use and Policies

In some cases, CAMP, the Athletics Department, and the Clarkson Alumni Association may be excused from the restrictions of the University graphic identity program because they have significant and valued external identities of their own in addition to their association with Clarkson. With the help of Marketing & External relations, CAMP, the Athletics Department, and the Clarkson Alumni Association may develop their own graphic identity programs in line with the University's program.

Other areas should avoid developing individual logos. Multiple graphic identifiers confuse our audiences and dilute the impact of the University's brand. The Division of Marketing & External Relations can advise your area on how to use the Clarkson logo to its greatest advantage, and how to make certain the message from your individual school or unit is communicated powerfully.

No new logos may be developed without review by the Division of Marketing & External Relations. If you have a compelling reason for a logo, and are making a significant investment in its application, the Division of Marketing & External Relations will work with you to determine and meet your needs.
