The objective of the engineering and management systems master's of science (MS) program at Clarkson is to integrate engineering and computer science technologies with the core components of an MBA. Students become architects of a multi-disciplined technical/management degree that provides the skills necessary to quickly develop products and move them toward commercialization. With evening courses and part-time study, we offer the only engineering programs in the capital region designed to meet the needs of working professionals. MS in Engineering Management Systems

The MS of Engineering and Management Systems consists of 33 credit hours. These classes are a combination of engineering and business courses. Full-time students typically complete the MS in one and a half to two years, while part-time students typically finish in two and a half to three years.

General Admission Requirements

Students must have a BS in engineering or equivalent field.

A complete application file consists of the following items:

  • resume and statement of purpose
  • letters of recommendation — two letters required
  • official transcripts
  • TOEFL/IELTS (if applicable); GRE not required
