SPEED Team Prevails

Speaking of dirty hands, Clarkson’s Baja SAE SPEED team happily dirtied a lot more than their hands on the road to victory at a recent regional competition in Louisville, Kentucky. The rough terrain and mud were no match for the team, which came in third overall — their best finish in over a decade.

Driving the Future

A Golden Knight was behind the wheel of this year’s International Conference on Connected and Autonomous Driving. Electrical & Computer Engineering Professor Chen Liu was program co-chair of MetroCAD 2021, where autonomous driving researchers and practitioners gathered virtually to discuss the latest challenges in the field.
