Polymer Science and Materials Group |
|
The group is involved in a variety of research projects involving polymer chemistry, both fundamental and applied in nature. We utilize living radical polymerizations for polymer synthesis and the design of novel polymer materials. We also examine more fundamental areas of polymerization, such as reaction rates and mechanisms.
Latest Group News · Ms. Christy Petruczok, an undergraduate student in the group, won the best oral paper award in the Undergraduate Research in Polymer Science Symposium at the Spring 2008 ACS National Meeting in New Orleans. Congratulations Christy! · Christy also recently won a coveted NSF Graduate Fellowship—well done!
