The nonrefundable application fee of $50.00 should follow your application. Checks and money orders should be made payable to The Clarkson School. Application fee waivers are accepted; see your high school guidance counselor.

Interview
All potential Clarkson School students are encouraged to visit the campus for an interview with School personnel. It is strongly recommended that a parent or guardian accompany an applicant for the interview. An interview, tour of campus and classroom visit may be arranged by calling The Clarkson School Office at 1-800-574-4425.

Secondary School Report Form

As an applicant, you should discuss your interest in The Clarkson School with your school guidance or college counselor. Your principal, head of school, or counselor should complete the Secondary School Report and return it with an official transcript of your secondary school coursework to date including PSAT, PLAN, SAT, or ACT scores.

Your guidance counselor may complete and submit these forms online or download the forms in PDF format and submit by mail.

Transcript
The transcript of your secondary school work should be sent directly from the school's office. Admission to The Clarkson School is always conditional on the outcome of your final grades for the year, so an end-of-year transcript must be sent when available.

Test Scores
If your PSAT, PLAN, SAT or ACT scores are not reflected on your secondary school transcript, you should arrange to have them sent to us.

Recommendations

In addition to the recommendation on the secondary school report, you should arrange to have at least two (2) additional recommendations sent from science or math teachers, or others who could speak to your academic and personal readiness for a program of this caliber. Those submitting recommendations on your behalf may complete and submit online, or forms may be downloaded in PDF format and submitted by mail.

Special instructions for students: You should complete the top portion of the two-page form before giving it to the individual. It is often appropriate to provide a stamped, addressed envelope as well. Recommendations should be sent directly to the Director of Admission and are considered confidential. Parents and guardians are encouraged to write a letter of support as well. These letters are optional but offer a uniquely personal perspective of the applicant.

Your references may complete and submit recommendations online or download the forms in PDF format and submit by mail.
