Financial Clearance

Check-in occurs at the start of every term. This allows us to confirm that you are financially clear, health insurance clear, and that you are on campus. Your balance due must be received by the payment deadline in order to be financially cleared for check-in. The balance will take into consideration all Clarkson awarded financial aid provided the required paperwork has been completed.

How to verify if you are financially cleared
Approximately one week prior to the start of the term, every student is assigned a check-in status which can be viewed through PeopleSoft Self-Service, select Student Service Center and click on the 'Holds' link.

  • CKC indicates you are financially clear
  • CIB indicates you are not financially clear
