Steps to Summer Enrollment

Current Students

  • See your academic advisor for approval of course enrollment.
  • Contact your SAS Rep for Term Activation.
  • If attending summer school and requesting financial aid, complete your 2013-14 FAFSA by the deadline of April 1.  Undergraduate students must complete and submit to SAS a Summer 2013 Undergraduate Financial Aid Application found at www.clarkson.edu/sas/forms
  • If living on campus, complete the Summer School Housing Application by April 22.
  • Go online in PeopleSoft and enroll yourself in courses, accessible beginning April 3.
  • Complete online Check-in through PeopleSoft or contact SAS to complete financial clearance and Check-in by the end of the second class day.

Former Students

  • You must request readmission to the university at least two weeks prior to the session start. Please refer to Continuance & Readmission for Clarkson’s readmission procedures.  Email is preferred.
  • Pay your deposit and provide health insurance information.

New Students

  • Contact your department to discuss course options and approval.
  • Ask your department to submit an add/drop form to SAS so we can enroll you.
  • Complete online Check-in through PeopleSoft or contact SAS to complete financial clearance and Check-in by the end of the second class day.

Non-Matriculated (non-degree) Students

  • Complete the non-matriculated student application form and submit, along with the required $50 deposit to SAS. If you previously took courses here, submit a letter indicating you wish to return as a non-matriculated student. You must also provide health insurance information.
  • Submit an add/drop form approved by Catherine Avadikian, non-degree student advisor for undergraduates. She can be reached at 315-268-3948; her office is in Room 1400, Educational Resource Center (ERC).  If you wish to take graduate level courses, contact the appropriate graduate coordinator:
