Services
The primary service Campus Safety & Security provides is a reasonably safe environment in which to work and learn in addition to conducting foot, vehicular and bike patrols for the entire campus. Some of the specific services provided include:
- Issuing student room keys
- Rendering Emergency First Aid & CPR
- Unlocking room doors (in accordance with University policy guidelines)
- Registering all vehicles for parking privilege on campus
- Notifying the campus community of emergencies
- Providing educational programs to students
- Providing night escort between campus facilities
- Issuing University ID's
- Registering and storing all weapons (handguns are not allowed)
- Assisting motorists with minor problems or calling for service
- Conducting crime prevention programs
- Providing transportation to and from the local hospital
- Providing training for residence hall staff
- Traffic and parking supervision
