The mission of the Office of Risk Management is to protect the institution against unexpected or unnecessary loss of resources and to ensure the preservation of the physical human and financial resources at Clarkson University. The Office of Risk Management looks to the support of the Clarkson community to maintain its success.
The Office of Risk Management oversees the following:
- Employee work related injuries (Workers' Compensation)
- Contracts (for all outside vendors performing work on campus)
- Property damage
- Liability (operation of a motor vehicle and operation of misuses and negligent actions or omissions on the part of Clarkson employees, or agents of Clarkson employees)
- University driver approval
