Seminars
REU participants attend development seminars on research skills.

Because the overarching theme of this program is sustainable management of environmental systems you are required to attend a seminar series on environmental sustainability. The sustainability seminar requires a little bit of reading, lots of fun discussions with your fellow REU-mates and special guest speakers. Your faculty mentor might also ask you to attend other presentations that relate to your research project.
