The main idea for the project was to create a passive pumping system that would provide suction for instruments onboard a plane

 

 

 

 

 

Here is a schematic of the main setup we had for collecting data on the test rig

The flare will produce low pressures but also vortexes that cause the low pressure being produced by the flare to be inconsistent

The main idea being tested is that the Blunt Body will prevent vortexes from the flare from making the suction unstable
