This summer I worked with Dr. Kerop Janoyan investigating conductive concrete designs for deicing roads. Deicing chemicals commonly used now are often harmful to the surrounding environment. Conductive concrete could potentialy replace the use of these chemicals, and save natural habitats bordering roads that experience severe winter weather.
