Project: Indoor Air Quality: Are current methods of sampling accurate and applicable in determining indoor air quality problems? click here to read paper
Details: This research examines the two different air sampling techniques for indoor air: particulate and bioaerosol sampling. Furthermore, the results from this research show that there is no correlation between bioaerosol and particulate concentrations, there is high interday variability for bioaerosol concentrations as found in a previous research in winter of 2004/2005, and finally there is no environmental correlation to bioaerosol concentrations. Thus, current indoor air sampling techniques, more specifically mold contamination sampling requires more than fewsamples over a longer period of time < 1 day.
