Classic Fare Catering

ARAMARK catering services provide professional catering for Clarkson University and the surrounding community. They cater all occasions from the most elegant formal banquet, to a simple coffee set-up or summer picnic. A catering service that expands constantly to bring the latest dining trends.

At the consultation be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Group name or department
    Groups or persons not directly affiliated with Clarkson University should first contact Scott Smalling at 315-268-6473 before calling dining services.
  • Type of event
  • Billing method
    Catering charges are independent of room and equipment fees. Methods accepted include: MasterCard, Visa, Account #, or check payable to Clarkson University.
  • Number of guests
    The tentative guaranteed number of people to be served should be given to the catering manager at least five working days before the event. Final changes should be submitted no later than three working days before the event.
  • Date, time and location
    Room reservations are handled by Clarkson at 315-268-6681 along with any audio/visual needs and seating arrangements.

Costs

  • Price quotes are given based on a meal or event lasting a maximum of two hours. Additional expenses due to extended service periods will be charged.
  • Delivery services outside a dining facility will be at an additional charge.
  • Linen in varied colors (your choice) is included with events where food is served. If you would like tables covered for meetings there is an additional charge.
  • A 10% surcharge will be added to the final bill of any outside groups not affiliated with Clarkson.
  • Any bars held outside the Cheel Barben Rooms will need a NY State temporary license at an additional fee. This must be requested 30 days prior to event.

Bar Service
If you are planning an event which includes alcoholic beverages, please contact our office at least 30 days in advance. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages, including beer and wine, is regulated by the New York State Liquor Authority. In addition, approval from Clarkson University's board of alcohol and responsible drinking is required. Without proper lead time we may be unable to get your permit issued.
