Associate Dean of Residence Life: oversees the Residence Life Office; which includes residential programming, on-campus housing, and the Resident Advisor program.

Director of Residential Living and Learning: organizes campus housing for all students throughout the year in collaboration with several offices.  Manages residential programs, such as the Residential Enrichment Program (REP), living learning communities, and theme houses.  Work effectively and efficiently with the hall staff to assure a positive atmosphere that is comfortable and study conducive.

Area Coordinators (AC): are full time “live-in” employee of the University responsible for the welfare and development of students living in the residence hall. There is one Area Coordinator for each style of housing that Clarkson offers: Traditional-Residence Halls, Suite-Style Housing, and Apartment Housing. Each AC oversees a staff of RAs and/or RDs in their respected areas.

Resident Directors (RD): are former resident advisors. In most cases, the RD serves as the immediate supervisor for the Resident Advisors (RAs) in their area. In addition, the RDs are the immediate referral persons for the RAs.

Resident Advisors (RA): are students who are appointed to serving as a liaison between the Student Affairs staff and residents. Ultimately, the RA is a key residential leader with a focus on developing a sense of community that facilitates academic success and personal growth.
