Research Interests:
My research is in the area of social relationships and physical and psychological health.  My most recent projects have focused on health behaviors among college students.  The first project focuses on smoking behavior and psychosocial predictors of smoking status and patterns of use. The second project examines the physical and psychological effects of caffeine consumption in college students, with a particular focus on anxiety symptoms.  Students have been involved with many aspects of this line of research, including the participant recruitment, data collection and management, and data analysis.
